Projects

Create and manage projects

Create a project with dates, members, groups and tags; work it from Overview and Manage; favourite, pause, archive and share it.

Updated 24 September 2026

Create a project#

  1. In Projects, choose the create button.

  2. Give it a name and a short description.

  3. Set the start and end dates.

  4. Invite members (people) and add groups.

  5. Add tags — type one and press Enter.

  6. Create it.

The person who creates a project is its owner. New projects are private to their members unless your workspace's project settings default to public.

Overview#

Projects → Overview shows:

  • Upcoming deadlines across your projects,
  • the activity feed — live activity from tasks, files and chat,
  • team workload — who is carrying how much open work.

Manage#

Projects → Manage lists every project you can see — yours, those shared with me, and those public to the organization — with status, due date and last update. From here you can:

  • Favourite a project to keep it at the top,
  • Pause it (on hold) and resume it,
  • Share it,
  • Archive it when the work is done.

Project statuses#

StatusMeans
ActiveIn progress
Paused / On holdStopped for now
CompletedDone
ArchivedPut away; out of the active lists

Analysis also flags projects as blocked, overdue or at risk from their tasks and dates.

Inside a project#

TabWhat it holds
OverviewProgress, task distribution across statuses, deadlines and recent activity
TasksThe work — see Tasks and views
FilesDocuments — see Project files
LinksRecords this project is connected to — the client, the deal, invoices
ChatThe project conversation — see Project conversation and team
CostsContract value, budget and what has been booked — see Costs
SettingsMembers, visibility, notifications and lifecycle — see Project access and settings

Link projects to the CRM record they are for — from the project's Links or from the CRM record's Work tab. The client's record then shows the project, and the project shows the client. See Connected records.
