CRM
Companies
Company records, the people linked to them, and the relationship summary, money and work you see from a company page.
On this page
Companies are the organizations behind your relationships — the businesses your contacts work for, your clients' firms, your partner agencies. Your workspace may call them Accounts, Agencies or something else.
Add a company#
In CRM → Companies, choose the add button and enter a name, and optionally a domain or website, industry and size. The domain helps match people to the company and appears on search results.
You can also create a company while adding a person — type a company name that does not exist yet and choose Create.
The company page#
A company's record page shows:
- Company properties — its fields, including custom fields.
- Relationship summary — the people linked to the company, and a key insight about the relationship.
- Value overview — the opportunities and money associated with it.
- Connected to — linked people, opportunities, projects, invoices and files.
- Activity, timeline and change history, as on a person.
Nobody is linked to this company yet means no person has been added to it. Add people from the company page with Link, or set the company on each person.
People and companies#
A person can be linked to a company, and a company can have many people. When you invoice or run a project for an organization, link it to the company and to the individual you deal with — the company then shows everything done for any of its people.
Find companies#
Search companies by name or domain, use Smart lists (saved filters), and select several companies for bulk actions such as tagging or assigning an owner.
