Portals

Give clients, teams and partners a door into the work — not a paid seat.

  • In the app
  • Partly connected

Portals open parts of the workspace to people outside it. One portal engine powers every shape — client portals, the team portal, project access for external collaborators and guest links — and a single console manages them all. Portals show the same records your team works in, so they are never out of date.

Partly connected

Viewing status, files and invoices, messaging your team, approvals and guest links work today. Uploading and downloading files, paying invoices and editing tasks from inside a portal are still being connected, and the Team Portal is a simple front door while its fuller preset is built.

Where Portals lives.

In the app: External › Client Portals · Team Portal. These are the pages you will find there.

02How it actually works

What this looks like on a normal day.

01

A window, not a copy

A portal reads the same records as the workspace. When the team updates a project, the client sees it.

  • Project status, shared files and invoices
  • Messages to the team
  • Approvals
02

Access you control

Decide what each portal shows, invite people by email, and revoke access in one step.

  • Per-portal permissions
  • Guest links with password, one-time code, use caps and expiry
  • Revocation that takes effect immediately
03

No seats for outsiders

Clients and guests do not count against your plan’s seats.

  • Clients are free to add
  • Live Inspector previews what a client sees
  • White-label on Enterprise
03Who it is for

Who leans on portals most.

People running it alone

Nothing to configure, nothing to integrate. It works the day you open it.

Teams who keep missing each other

One place everyone can see, so nobody has to ask what happened.

Businesses with clients waiting

Files, updates and invoices your clients can reach without another login you pay for.

You never use this module alone

Everything here is joined to the rest of the workspace, so nothing has to be copied anywhere. And Donna is standing in this room with you — ask her to do the work in it and she will, then tell you what changed.

Have someone walk you through it
