Keep QuickBooks. Stop retyping what it knows.

Keep your accountant on QuickBooks while the business runs in UNOBITS.

  • Workaround available today

PlannedA native QuickBooks connection is not available yet. Today, Finance keeps its own double-entry books; bank statements import by CSV, and Zapier or Make can move records to QuickBooks.

01What it does here

What QuickBooks is worth once it is inside.

UNOBITS Finance already runs receivables, payables, expenses and a full ledger. A QuickBooks connection is intended for businesses whose accountant keeps the official books in QuickBooks Online.

Planned: invoices and bills mirrored into QuickBooks.

Planned: chart-of-accounts mapping.

Available now: Finance reports (P&L, balance sheet, trial balance) your accountant can read directly.

02Connecting it

About as involved as signing in.

No middleware, no connector subscription, no developer. You authorise it once and it stays connected.

  1. 1

Today: connect Zapier or Make in System & Engine › Integrations.

  2. 2

Build a Flow in Automations that sends Finance events to your Zap or scenario.

  3. 3

Import bank statements by CSV in Finance › Money.

  4. 4

We will announce the native connector in the changelog.

03What you can automate

Things that then happen without you.

Write these in plain language in Automations — no flowchart required — or build the complicated ones properly when you need to.

Automation

Available now: invoice paid → Zapier or Make creates a QuickBooks sales receipt

Automation

Planned: invoice finalised in UNOBITS → QuickBooks invoice

Automation

Planned: expense approved → QuickBooks expense

Specialist tools are fine. Islands are not.

Keep QuickBooks for what it is genuinely good at, and let it feed the same system your inbox, clients, jobs and invoices already live in.
